The intention of our weekly Jam Session is for dancers of all levels come practice their dancing. This is different than a regular dance where it's more about socializing. Top Cats has an awesome floor, full mirrors, and high ceilings, all the ingredients needed for a practice night. We play really good swing music of all tempos. Some dance teams show up to take advantage of the space. You'll see competition partners getting ready for an upcoming weekend. You'll see beginners being helped by friends practicing in the middle of the floor. All we ask is a $5 donation to help us cover the cost of the space. Broke? Come anyways! It's fun. Come! We also have dances on Wednesday Nights at Tia Juana's in Irvine and Friday Nights in Irvine.
